Step 1
Cut AG1081 to 11" x 12". Cut two, 1" x 12" strips AG1093. Adhere along the back of both sides of 11" piece. Trim with decorative scissors, leaving a narrow border. Cut two vertical 1" strips from both edges of AG1087 (green edge with blue stripe). Adhere both along the back of the AG1093 strips to make a 12"x 12" sheet.

For sewn border:
Cut two, 3/4" wide strips from AG1087 with green on both sides and blue down the center. You will also need two of the 1/4" wide strips with red on both sides and blue down the center. Adhere the 1/4" wide strip down the center of the 3/4" wide strip. Set one aside for the Right Page. Cut one strip 11" long. Adhere to the animal print on your layout about 1/2" from the bottom edge of the page. With a ruler, starting at the left end, mark 1/2" and then mark at 1" intervals above and below the strip. Punch a 1/8" hole at each mark.

Take the red satin ribbon and the yellow twill from the card and iron, if desired. Insert about 1/2" of one end of each ribbon in the holes on the left end and adhere to the back. The red is through the top hole and the yellow through the bottom hole. Thread the red ribbon down through the second hole on the bottom and then the yellow twill down through the second hole on the top. Bring the twill up through the third hole on the bottom and down through the fourth hole on top. Then bring the red up through the third hole on top and down through the fourth hole on the bottom. Continue across the strip making X's as the ribbon cross on the front and the back of the sheet. Alternate the ribbon and twill on top.

To make frame: cut four, 2" x 8" strips AG1093. [Measure the 8" and make that cut first, leaving a 4"X8" peice for the squares on the right page.]  Carefully and tightly, roll the paper lengthwise around an unsharpened pencil. Adhere closed on the inside with adhesive. Remove pencil and repeat to make three more tubes. Flatten slightly. Cut a 7" square AG1084. Adhere tubes along the four sides, overlapping at the corners and pressing the tubes flat at their intersections. Punch a 1/8" hole where they cross and insert a brad. Center and adhere to page. Punch out and layer the die cut giraffe with foam adhesive. Adhere in frame with foam adhesive.

Punch holes. Thread ribbon through the holes and repeat steps from Left Page. Adhere piece to background sheet AG1082, 1/2" from three sides of right side of page.
Step 2
Cut a 2"x 12" strip AG 1093. Cut a 1 1/4"x 12" strip [You will need to cut it 1"X12" to have enough paper left for the photo mats in step three.] from AG1084 by cutting on both sides of a row of diamonds vertically. Center and layer strips. Cut both sides with decorative scissors. Adhere to left side of page.
